Hello …
I am an Iranian carpet designer and interdisciplinary artist dedicated to bridging the rich heritage of Persian carpet-making with contemporary innovation.
Holding a Master’s degree in Art Research from Isfahan University of Art and a Bachelor’s degree in Carpet Design from Shiraz University, I reimagine hand-woven Persian carpets as living cultural artifacts. My practice explores the profound geometric language embedded in these textiles, fusing sacred and fractal geometries with both Euclidean and non-Euclidean principles.
Working across carpet design, digital art, and scholarly research, I use digital media to reinterpret traditional patterns, highlighting their mathematical sophistication and cultural essence. By placing ancient Persian geometries in dialogue with modern and postmodern contexts, my work preserves Iranian identity while pushing the boundaries of contemporary artistic expression.
Through fractal-inspired creations and research, I strive to revive the timeless beauty of Persian carpets, ensuring their patterns and stories continue to resonate in the digital age and beyond.
